The article identified by Bill Mullins in "The Indianapolis Star"
discussed a playwright named Joseph A. Hayes who co-authored with his
wife a high school play called "And Came the Spring". Joseph A. Hayes
was credited with using the phrase "buckle of the Bible Belt".
