I think "The gig is up" is what the House thought when they successfully impeached *Bill* Clinton in '98.  Shouldn't count one's jigs or gigs before they're hatched.  

LH, finding it curious that a search on "Impeachment of Obama" has as many raw g-hits as "Impeachment of Clinton".  Who knew?
