The NYTimes of Oct. 5 (C1) is about publication of  "the first full-fledged English-to-Yiddish dictionary in 50 years ... designed to carry Yiddish into the 21st century and just maybe beyond."

By the way, "alpi tokhes" = "butt call" (literally "by way of the backside")
