The p-word: The word that decided an election for President of the United States of America.  Perhaps only the third such in American history, like the number of times the Atlantic has endorsed a candidate in its 160 year history, the previous two being 1860 (WOTY "slavery") and 1964 (WOTY "nuclear weapons").
