[Ads-l] Predatory sexual behavior is out; patriarchalism remains

Nothing is real, all is excerpts.

When I wrote in the wee hours, I was using a newspaper quotation of what Romney said, surrounded by the required marks.  I have just seen and heard Romney's statement, where he says "our wives, our daughters, our granddaughters".   (And his tweet -- necessarily an excerpt -- is different from both.)

But what I heard was also just an excerpt; I know I had heard more yesterday or Friday, but do not recall it exactly.  Did he say "our women" before "our wives"?

And does an LDS church member need "women" when "wives" are sufficient?

More appositely, he referred first to "our women."
