[Ads-l] "Due" meaning due date

I received the following reply after renewing library books online:

All the four books in your record have been renewed.   Their new due is
10/04/2016, unless some other patron recalls them.

Is this use of "due" something new, or just a mistake? Has anyone on the
list encountered it?
