"Generalistics" reads to me as "the scientific study of generals" -- like the recent New York Times article comparing Hillary's (now 110) to Donald's 88.

Not in OED.

'Generalizing or sweeping in one's appraisal.'

This prompts me to invent "generalistics," n., meaning 'general situation
or condition.'
