[Ads-l] Bunker down

My father in Houston, Texas, has reported hearing people using this phrase regarding what they're doing during Hurricane Harvey, and indeed, I've seen this phrase on a Houstonian's Facebook feed, in the passive voice: "We're safe and bunkered down."
I take this to be a blend of "hunker down" and "bunker," both in the semantic field of seeking shelter. I don't have time right now to do any kind of search on it, so I'm just logging it here before I forget it.
