[Ads-l] acolyte act-a-light eggcorn?

When our children were serving as acolytes, 35 years ago or so, they
pronounced the title "act-a-light," which made a certain amount of sense,
since  lighting and extinguishing candles was part of their duty.  I
haven't found any examples on line be googling various possible spellings.
