"I remember there was a huge _Wendy_ [sic] storm that went through Fort
Jackson, back then."

Some may recall, from some years back, the discussion of the case in which
a colleague from Rantoul, Illinois, and I both assumed that the title of
the song, "Windy," was "Wendy." Since he had named his new-born daughter
after the song _before_ he had bought a copy of it, she really dodged a
bullet. He told me that, had he learned the correct title in time, he
*would* have named the poor girl "Windy."
