Yes, it’s usually known as a “win-or-go-home” game, in which the loser is eliminated (from a tournament or further playoff contention).  But then we read:

Dallas and Seattle play next week in a literal winner-go-home game. Whoever loses will be immediately eliminated.

Thus, it’s really a loser-go-home game. Mainstream media purveying fake news?
