Students in Fair Lawn, New Jersey got a shock right before graduation.
Their names were read out loud at a school assembly with a simple message:
If your parents don't pay the money they owe for school lunches, you don't
get your diploma.¹

Humiliating kids like this is utterly unacceptable – and it needs to stop.

Unbelievably, "lunch shaming" like this happens all across the country.
Tell Congress to outlaw lunch shaming. Kids need good, nutritious meals –
not humiliation!--

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"---a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
