[Ads-l] Technical question re garbled emails

I get scores of emails every day from all over the world and they come in
clean and clear and not chopped up and garbled. But, virtually every email
from ADS-L has some level of garble, from light to completely unreadable.
Why is that? Is there something I can do to fix this?
