A "correction" becoming more and more common
-er: 395,000,000; -or: 68,700,000
MW: "... or, less commonly, _adaptor_"

It's quite a trendor. Some kelsey-grammer sites are already making up
"arguments" as to when one "should" use one spelling in preference to the
other. Since I've already outlived by several years the normal
life-expectancy of a black male, with any luck, I  won't live long enough
to see the "distinction" codified.
