A surprisingly early instance:

1956 Al Morgan & Jose' Ferrer _The Great Man_ (film): It may not be the
truth, but it's _my_ truth!

Based on Morgan's novel of the same name: there too?

(Character goes on to say something like, "It's not X's truth, or Y's
truth....")
