FWIW, the mug version is the one I heard long ago. Also FWIW, I have the
feeling that the speaker was my office mate, who was quoting (in the early
'80s) his army drill sergeant, ca1970.
One phrase I'm sure he attributed to that source was, "I'm so bad my mama's
afraid to call me on the telephone!"
