I went into the local Stewart's Shop to get my papers this morning and was
greeted very nicely by the "opener".  She enquired as to how I felt; I said
"fine".  I returned the query and she said "I'm swell."  She is in her 20's.
Is this use of _swell_ a revival?  Maybe she had heard it from a pre-WW2
movie.
