Dear Allan,

 

The President-elect in Mexico--Andrés Manuel López Obrado—is often
identified by the abbreviation _AMLO_.  I’d like to compare this with TR and
FDR and JFK.  Has anybody, to your recollection, dealt with the earliest
uses of these abbreviations?
