The American Heroes Channel series "Hitler's Empire," Ep. 6, notes that
shortly after becoming Chancellor, Hitler "got his first private jet, a
Ju-52."
Hitler's personal plane was a Junkers Ju-52 trimotor which, as the
accompanying film clip testified, was hardly a "jet."
The world's first jet plane to fly was the experimental Heinkel He-178,
which made its flying debut in 1939.
