According to "‘Cuck’ Is So 2016 — Welcome to the Era of the ‘Soy Boy’” (Miles Klee, https://bit.ly/2yQTqTE <https://bit.ly/2yQTqTE>), the term “soy boy” is in the process of replacing “cuck” as the insult du jour for the alt right.

The Urban Dictionary (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Soy%20Boy <https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Soy%20Boy>) has four entries on it. The term has two meanings that are often combined: 1. an effeminate male (also Wiktionary: https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/soy_boy <https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/soy_boy>), 2. a liberal male

The article essentially boils the origin to the belief that liberal ideas are effete (among which is the consumption of tofu and other soy foods) and the belief that consuming soy reduces testosterone in men (a claim debunked at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soybean#Phytoestrogens <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soybean#Phytoestrogens>). 

The word is also used in "Why the Alt-Right Thinks Porn is a Jewish Conspiracy” (Bill Black, https://bit.ly/2L8kiTQ <https://bit.ly/2L8kiTQ>), which includes historical notes about the American movement to increase the white goy population, which included the popularization of circumcision.
