The English OLD (https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/get_out <https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/get_out>) has two definitions for the phrasal verb “get out,” with “get” (definition 4) covering get + prepositions meaning “go.” Wiktionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/get_out <https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/get_out>) has 11 definitions for the verb “get out.”
But neither cover the telephony meaning of “leave the internal telephone system” where you are using a telephone system such as at a company and have to dial a code to “get out.” This seems both common enough and idiomatic enough to warrant its own definition.
