[Ads-l] take the mike/michey out; website item by Pascal Tr éguer

In July there were several ads-l messages on "take the mike out"

and "take the mickey out." Recently I noticed a website of interest

for this topic:

The items on the website are authored by Pascal Tréguer, and in

reply to a query of mine he said his item "Origin Of To Take The

Mickey Out Of Someone" was written" on Nov. 27, 2017.


Very importantly, that item of his contains a July 20, 1901 antedating

of "take the mike out of."
