The focus of the 2020 conference is indigenous languages and cultures of the
Americas, for which we are soliciting abstracts on all aspects of the
description, documentation and decipherment of texts of pre-colonial
traditions. Papers are also invited on the sociolinguistic documentation
and revitalization efforts of the speech communities of aboriginal Canada,
the US, and Latin America.

Topics may include (but are not limited to) the following:

*	Classification of indigenous languages
*	Linguistic structures

*	Missionary linguistics of the 16th century--present
*	Endangered languages and cultures
*	Bi/multilingualism & education

*	Amazonian languages
*	Revitalization and language planning
*	Mayan languages
*	Nahuatl languages

In keeping with the ILA tradition, we also invite individual papers or
posters on other areas of linguistics. Each presentation should last no more
