Good point. I actually thought Katamba’s example was humorous, simply because he happened to pick a word that has since come into existence, but still, can there be a splody cat?

“Splody" seems to have two meanings: “having been exploded” and “explosive”. The first seems in line with the “splody ejacuation" citation at the very bottom.

It seems that “splody cat” is possible. FWIW, there’s a “Splody Cat” on LinkedIn and a handful of hits when the spelling “splodey cat” is used.
