The suspect's press secretary soon  expanded the referents of "human scum"
to include all humans who have opposed said suspect.

"People," she said, who "continue to try to negate anything [sic] he is
doing and take away from the good work he is doing on behalf of the
American people, they deserve strong language like that.”
