A 2014 article (https://tinyurl.com/y5kf8y22) has a picture of this. Evidently, if you select “custom,” you get to select from Facebook’s gender selection. You also get to select your preferred pronoun.

According to Lifewife (https://www.lifewire.com/edit-gender-identity-status-on-facebook-2654421), 71 genders have been counted on Facebook.

Dennis Baron mentions 58 in 2014 (http://listserv.linguistlist.org/pipermail/ads-l/2014-February/131248.html).

There must be hundreds at https://www.wattpad.com/341462536-complete-list-of-genders-the-complete-list-of-all. The list is copy-protected. I’ll try to get a count one of these days.
