CNN is quoting DJT as saying "all the sudden" where I would say, "all of a
sudden."

uNever mind that a close listening to the audio in question makes it at
least as likely that he did say "all of a sudden" after all,
I have heard "all the sudden" in real life a number of times.

Point is that it sound so normal to somebody at CNN that he/she chose it
over the traditional alternative when the actual phrase used was a little
unclear.
