And, anyway, what's the deal with <novel> in <(novel) coronavirus>? What
does it signify in medical nomenclature?
In my popular mind, it is puzzling, since I was unaware of the term
<coronavirus> before this outbreak, and calling this one something "novel"
('new & interesting, curious) does not compute. Previous related outbreaks
could, therefore, just as likely be labeled <*(antique) coronavirus>, with
an appropriately corresponding cachet.
