[Ads-l] vowels and consonants for US English

A database count of words in print was analyzed. For the top 10k words of US English there were 16.3M word instances resulting in 62.3M phonemes. (The top word "the" had 1 M instances,) Results found that 36% of the phonemes in typical text are vowels and 64% consonants. When the 26 letters of the alphabet were analyzed for the 62.3 M word instances, the 5.8 vowels ("y"= 80% vowels, 20% consonants) equaled 39% of the total letters and consonants were 61%.
