In Germany, I heard someone talking about cowboys from Texas, not the US.

"It's an alpenhorn. From _Bavaria_, *not* _Germany_!"

Clearly, Reagan was right, when his first move as governor of California
and ex-officio chairman of the Board of Regents of the University of
California was to close the Department of Geography at Berkeley, ending all
of its degree programs. Clearly, that department was a waste of taxpayer
money. Clearly, the intuitive knowledge of geography of the average
American is sufficient.

Sigh! "Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

All say, "How hard it is that we have to die!"---a strange complaint to
come from the mouths of people who have had to live.
