It may have been a mistake, but according to Wikipedia, the A6M0 Zero
was powered by a turbo-prop engine, which uses a jet turbine engine, in
which the jet exhaust powers propellers instead of being directly
translated into thrust, making it arguably qualify as a "jet." The N1K-J
Shiden had a piston-powered propeller, and was therefore not a jet.
