OED has this spelling from 1721. (More cumbersome versions go back to  the
16th century.)

Early English Books Online offers this undated, anonymous report,
presumably written in 1686 (though dated 1685 by EEBO):

* "*A Particular of the Grosse Produce of the Several Branches of the
Revenue in Ireland for One Year Ended at Xmas 1685."
