I hate to be a PITA, but this is where sentence stress or hyphenation
really helps the parsing, doesn't it? Is it more likely to be [global
warming][trends] than [global][warming trends]? Or am I being stupid in
addition to a PITA (or is the quality of stupidity including in being a
PITA)?
