I chose the "f------d" style specifically so people would gasp with
surprise at the actual wod, printed in full in the headline as has been
observed.

Heh.

BTW, my recollection is similar to Bill's: no "-tards" but "re-" till the
'90s. And not many since. "Libtard" has become ridiculously common in
recent years.
