"Let's go Brandon."

Well, it originated as a misquote.

"It all started on October 9, when NASCAR driver Brandon Brown won his first race in the league's Xfinity series at Alabama's legendary Talladega Superspeedway."

The crowd behind the interview were chanting "F--- Joe Biden!"

The interviewer either misunderstood or covered it up, telling Brandon on air that the crowd was chanting "Let's go Brandon!"

The chant has since become a popular, ubiquitous in some circles, anti-Biden catch-phrase.

Two separate satirical rap songs by that title have reached number 1 on i-tunes streaming or download charts. One of those songs has been banned from Youtube for supposed Covid misinformation.
