Actually Yale is in some ways cancelling itself.  The University is currently undergoing a process of reckoning with its legacy of slavery.  I myself am heavily involved in researching the connections of the founders of Yale Law School with slavery.  Of the three founders of YLS, one of them was a major figure in the perpetuation of slavery and its associated persecutions, and a second one appears to have been supportive of slavery.  (The third one was an abolitionist who represented the Amistad captives in their legal proceedings.)
