[Ads-l] Antedating of "Triple Jump"

Yes, this is one of the more questionable entries I have seen in OED.  It's as if they regarded "triple jump" as a self-explanatory trivial word-combination, not worthy of being researched at all.

Remarkable that OED2 didn't have anything earlier than 1964, considering
that "triple jump" has been an Olympic event since the inaugural 1896
Games.
