The March 2022 release of new words in the OED spotlights the entry for "dinosaur hunter," with a first use of 1902.  Here is an antedating:

1899 _Sun-Journal_ (Lewiston, Maine) 8 Aug. 4/3 (Newspapers.com)  The Dinosaur huntes who ae busy in Wyoming this summer are meeting with great success.
