[Ads-l] Computer synthesized voices continue to improve

AI capabilities continue to improve in the audio domain. I recently
encountered a fake interview featuring the synthesized voices of
podcaster Joe Rogan and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. There remains a
detectable robotic quality, but the intonations and articulations are
impressive.

All researchers should be aware of these developments which shift the
evidentiary value of audio and video recordings. -- Garson
