contains underline characters which appeared in the original message).
The result of this search displays a message with a “Previous message”
link that points target message:

site:listserv.linguistlist.org _voluntell_

However, the following searches do not find the target message:

site:listserv.linguistlist.org voluntold
site:listserv.linguistlist.org voluntell

As Ben notes the Google index is incomplete.
