Subject: Request help with Herbert Marcuse quotation in The Listener

A correspondent asked me to investigate a quotation attributed to
German-American philosopher Herbert Marcuse. Google Books shows a
snippet match in "The Listener". I am hoping someone with access to
the "The Listener" database will search for this quotation and send me
the PDF of the pertinent article together with the full metadata.

It appears that the quotation appeared in the main body of the text.
In addition, a somewhat different streamlined version of the quotation
appeared as a pull quote.
