In _American Speech_, "Among the New Words" has had two installments
relating to gender and sexuality. The first, in AmSp 89.4 (Winter 2014),
includes "demisexual," with citations going back to 2009:

OED3 subsequently added "demisexual" in its June 2022 update, taking it
back to 2006 as a noun and 2007 as an adjective.

The second ATNW installment on gender and sexuality appeared in AmSp 98.1
(Feb. 2023): https://doi.org/10.1215/00031283-10579494

If you click through to the supplementary material, you'll find citations
for "aro" back to 2013 and "aroace" back to 2017. OED hasn't added either
yet.
