I keep seeing this word in connection with Reddit.

Not in Merriam-Webster, Dictionary.com <http://dictionary.com/> or the OED.

2. Wiktionary calls it vulgar, internetese and a neologism, saying that Cory Doctorow coined it on 28 Nov 2022, but has three citations.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter if Amazon's enshittification is because [Jeff] Bezos was a cynic or because he sold out. Once Amazon could make more money by screwing its customers, that screw-job became a fait accompli.
