Booping a cat's nose can be oh-so-satisfying for the booper, but we totally
understand how it could be a vulnerable position for the boopee to be in.

Not that I've done this, but I understand that it involves barely touching
the cat's nose with your fingertip, while gently saying "boop" in falsetto.

It doesn't have to be a cat. It could be a baby or (not recommended) a
snapping turtle.
