[Ads-l] Turkey is now "T ürkiye"

"New"?  I'm in my 50s. I collected stamps as a child, and the ones from
Turkey said "Türkiye" on them.  I think "Türkiye" is just "Turkey" in
Turkish and has been the whole time.  Do you mean that there's pressure on
Western media to now spell it this way (like Bombay becoming Mumbai, and
Peking becoming Beijing)?
