[Ads-l] Turkey is now "T ürkiye"

I am told the best pronunciation of" Türkiye" is ~Tuerkeeye
(with ~ue as in "true" ~ee as in "see" and ~ye as in "yes".
So perhaps a "Turk" is no longer a ~Terk but a ~Tuerk

Yes. And my Iranian student, who recently lived in Türkiye, recently
reminded me of the change and corrected me.

What I find interesting is that we (the students and I) still use
"Turkish" as the language name in our conversations.

(And I also find interesting my student's preference for the name
"Persian" over "Farsi" for her language.)
