[Ads-l] new(?) eggcorn: "type-o"

For "typo", of course. Googling "must have been a type-o" pulls in a bunch of them. I actually came across one in the wild without the hyphen. A poster named John on my local "Nextdoor" site responded to a previous post, "New Haven peeps what's this about I heard we may loose the parks” by asking “What’s a peep?”  Someone else explained “people”, to which John responded "Ahh, people.  Must have been a type o”.  

Googling it brought back the hyphenated version.  I suppose “typo” < “typographical error” has become pretty opaque, even though “type o” errors isn’t much more transparent. Note to Chris W.: It’s not in the eggcorn database.
