I went to the Eggcorn database and did a search and it didn't find
anything for "ice-sickle" for "icicle."

It also said that registrations were closed, so I can't register in
order to submit this on the forum, so I'm sending it along here (sorry!)

"ice-sickle" for "icicle"

[begin quotation]
We passed the Peter B. Lewis Building, which was designed by Frank
Gehry, and I told Kevin the local folklore about the building (and how
you have to watch out for killer ice-sickles that accumulate from the
crazy roof in the winter).
[end quotation]

(I have noticed typos or speakos in her articles: this may be a
voice-typing/recognition artifact or an intentional wordplay as she's a
professional writer.)
