[Ads-l] "Nudification" (not a new word, but one newly in the news)

Just watched an NBC Nightly News segment on the use of A.I.-enabled deep fakes that turn innocent prom photos pasted by high-school girls into salacious nudes by grafting the poster’s head onto a previously existing web photo of a nude woman.  Here’s an earlier piece about the problem:

I would think it’s new enough in this sense to be under WOTY consideration, maybe for the A.I.-related category I’m sure we’ll create for the Philadelphia meeting.

P.S. I noticed just before posting this that my Autocorrect, with its delicate sensibilities, transformed my “nudification” in the subject line to “nidification”.  The first step toward restoring one’s empty nest after the kids move out?
