Years ago, I tried to understand Dixie, some of which effort, but not all of it, is in an ads-l 2020 thread. [1] (I'm going through papers to recycle.)

Is there news?

There was a variously-named kid's game about an imaginary place.

There were New Orleans Dix notes, but when were they failing to be accepted nationally?

There was Dorothea Dix, who in 1854 proposed Dix's Land Bill, an asylum in Raleigh, North Carolina, which I showed was belittled up north.
